The Snugly Blankie
by carolynholm
Cher Madame,
My snugly blankie fell off le chair. Il faut that Madame fix it.
Regards,
M. Le Poufin
Dear Puffin,
I’m glad you like your white furry blanket. Is that where you sleep at night now?
Love, Carolyn
Cher Madame,
Ce n’est pas any of your business where I sleep.
Regards,
M. Le Poufin
Dear Puffin,
I know that you don’t sleep with me any more. I miss your weight on my legs!
Love, Carolyn
Cher Madame,
Toujours les remarks about mon weight. J’ignore. Meanwhile il faut that I remind you that le moron dog Poppy, she is right there next to the bed.
Regards,
M. Le Poufin
Dear Puffin,
She won’t do anything to you. She is harmless. Mia knows that. Mia sleeps with me. Yet when I carry you to the bed and set you down you take off like a shot. Then you lurk in the doorway.
Love, Carolyn
Cher Madame,
I do not lurk. Je suis un chat with great dignity, who does not do the lurking.
Regards,
M. Le Poufin
Dear Puffin,
I can see you there. Every night. You lurk and you chirp. You make little chirpy meows. I know you want to come sleep with me. I wish you would.
Love, Carolyn
Cher Madame,
Comme d’habitude Madame she presumes much. I sit there because it is a pleasant location. Madame she is being maudlin.
Regards,
M. Le Poufin
Oh Puffin,
Sweetie, I know you want to join me.
Love, Carolyn
Cher Madame,
Je repeat, le moron dog Poppy she is RIGHT THERE. Next to le bed. I don’t know why Madame insists on ignoring this fact.
Regards,
M. Le Poufin
Dear Puffin,
She is tied up, for heaven’s sake.
Love, Carolyn
Cher Madame,
C’est another shocking thing that Madame does. Madame practices le bondage.
Regards,
M. Le Poufin
Dear Puffin,
I’m just trying to keep everyone calmed down! You are all so frustrating.
Love, Carolyn
Cher Madame,
Qu’est-ce que c’est, this calm everyone down?
Regards,
M. Le Poufin
Dear Puffin,
I don’t want Poppy chasing after you two cats.
Love, Carolyn
Cher Madame,
You admit! Le moron dog she is dangereux!!!!!!!
Regards,
M. Le Poufin
Dear Puffin,
I admit no such thing. She just wants to play. Mia totally gets that. They meet, they touch noses, they are fine with each other. You are the crazy one who doesn’t believe that Poppy is harmless. And when you run like that, she just wants to chase you. Because chasing is fun. So stop running!
Love, Carolyn
Cher Madame,
Je vous en prie, fix my snugly blankie and keep le moron dog in bondage. C’est the only way we little cats can be safe.
Regards,
M. Le Poufin
